BPG Werks, a privately funded Canadian company was founded in 2009 by Benjamin Gulak and Ryan Fairhead. BPG Werks is currently bringing the DTV* Shredder (our own patented and trademarked vehicle) to production. The Shredder is the first true crossover vehicle for action and power sports. A combination of tank, skateboard and motocross bike, the DTV Shredder is the first year round, all-terrain vehicle – and it fits in the trunk of your car! With a top speed of +30 mph, the outdoors become your personal playground.
In the past year, BPG Werks has brought the Shredder from notepad sketches to a rugged working prototype. Though the DTV Shredder is still in development, it has already received international exposure including features in FHM Magazine, Men’s Journal, Discovery Channel, Fox News and CNN. The DTV Shredder buzz is still growing; Rockstar Energy, the Orland Magic (NBA) and Solidworks (software) are currently sponsoring the project. BPG Werks is also working hand in hand with the United States AirForce Academy to develop the militarized version.
Most recently, BPG Werks closed a large finance round. BPG Werks is now in the final stages of bringing the DTV Shredder to the mass market and will start delivering units early in 2012.
